The large matzo ball soup use to be great. They reduced the size of the large container by 2/3s and the broth is now dark brown and tastes unappetizing. Bring back the old recipe!

Quality has dramatically gone down. Orders are almost always different than what we ask for and receive confirmation for. We have been so disappointed so many times, that we will not order from here again.

CHEESE BLINTZES - I ordered cheese blintzes the other day and was unpleasantly surprised when got the order. I received 3 mini blintzes, the size of a large spring roll. Defnitely not what I expected or what I have seen in other restaurants and defnitely overpriced for that amount of food. Cheese blintzes are much bigger (size of crepes) and the cheese inside was not what I though it should tase. They should consult someone who knows how to make cheese blintzes.

I hope that people read this review that I have waited far too long to write and heed its warning. As active members of the Battery Park Community, we generally have issue with most of the available food and restaurant options. However, a local, family oriented bagel shop/diner should be a simple request. Of all the times we've eaten Izzy and Nats - whether delivery, pickup, or in the restaurant - they have NEVER, NOT ONCE gotten an order right. A whole wheat everything bagel becomes white toast, a request for egg whites becomes "I'll ask the chef and see what I can do" and muenster cheese becomes cheddar. We cannot even begin to understand how little care and effort is put into the customer service and food preparation at this establishment that I can only guess remains open because it's the only bagel option in the immediate radius. I especially hope that the Izzy and Nats owners read this. But they are probably far too busy standing out in FRONT of a family establishment smoking cigarettes. Shameful, seriously, seriously shameful.

Everytime I order from Izzy's they screw up the order. Everytime! The food is not bad. But the delivery service sucks.

Have ordered here a few times. Generally good quality, although this time, pancakes with strawberries werent impressive - only 2 or 3 slices of strawberries. my wife had granola and only 2 or 3 blueberries in them. Will try again though as quality was previously good.

Service at the place is always poor...

Izzy & Nats can certainly become your second kitchen in the neighborhood if you're not careful. They have a wide variety of food, and you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner items ANYTIME during the day -- a big plus for someone who likes to spent their Sat and Sun mornings on a long run or bike ride.

I wish I could give this place no stars. We moved to BPC a few years ago and loved this place but last year, we've been getting horrible service. We usually would pick up our bagels or have a platter delivered to us. When we picked up our bagels, they seemed to screw the order up (toasted whole wheat bagel with CC and a nontoasted onion bagel with butter). Pretty simple one would think, but instead of that, we would end up with an onion bagel with nothing and whole wheat bagel with butter. Today we ordered the I&N omelette-THRU SEAMLESSWEB-sauteed onions and bacon and a whole wheat bagel with veg. CC. We received an omlette with 2 bits of bacon and onion (with a tablespoon of potatoes on the side) and a whole wheat bagel with plain cream cheese. We've had enough of this non sense, and will avoid at all costs. Its a gamble to order here.

Absolutely horrible delivery service. They missed one or more items on the last four deliveries. I keep on ordering because I keep on thinking "cmon, they already messed up orders 3 times in a row, can't possibly happen again "- and yet they never fail to miss an item. I'm done ordering from them.

Delicious! Vegan friendly, with delicious tofu cream cheese selection. I'm in love with the multi-grain bagels, they toast them to perfection. Staff is always friendly and fast. I'm a big fan of this place.

I enjoy the food here and am happy that they've expanded their dinner menu. My favorites to order are the turkey club, bagel & lox platter and the chicken noodle soup, which are all hearty portions. My biggest gripe is how early they close.

Their French toast bagels and milkshakes are the best! Portions are pretty big.

A solid and reliable choice in BPC, but somewhat pricey as compared to the overall quality and quantity of the food.

Izzy and Nat's is great! I love their Challah French Toast and you cannot go wrong with any of their bagels! Awesome breakfast spot!

Food is mediocre and WAY overpriced for what you get. Delivery is ATROCIOUS!! We live 3 blocks away and waied over an hour for our order. When it showed up (cold), HALF of the items were missing! We called and have been waiting an additional 40 minutes (and counting) for them to bring the rest of our order. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

I think Izzy and Nat's is a disappointing restaurant. We live less than 5 minutes walking from the restaurant and ordered our dinner over 2 hours ago. I called to ask where our food was and the person at the other end of the phone was apathetic and rude. I will not order from this restaurant again.

Food is delicious and the people that work there are great. There will be times when an order gets mixed. Ordered a Brookes Benny and unfortunately the eggs were missing...a quick call and they quickly sent over the eggs. As mentioned, mistakes will happen, its how its handled that separates the good from the bad. I order from them at least once a week.

Food is consistently good, but it took far too long to deliver a salad (10 minutes longer than the outside of the delivery window quoted).

good (not great) bagels - delivery is slow. Prices are higher online than in store (hate that) - pick-a-bagel is a million times better.

Place is horrible and mngmt just doesn't care. Food is cold when it eventually arrives about 1 hour 15 mins even though I live around the corner. Twice as expensive as every other place around here. Do yourself a favor and order from George's,they are on seamless web as well, twice as fast, always good food, and half the price.

Food is good. Delivery takes a long time, even though I live very close--sometimes twice as long as their estimate. i.e. you can wait over an hour for food that was estimated to be delivered in 15-30 miinutes.

There's not a lot of options in BPC...they used to have good sandwiches, but they no longer have sourdough bread. I won't ordering from here anymore.

Two orders delivered and they forgot the pickle both times. I hate when that happens.

Although located right across the street, delivery took nearly an hour. Food was cold and soggy when delivered and my medium burger was charcoal.
